Linux Gaming: Crytek Is Making a Push for Linux with CRYENGINE

The Linux platform is getting more interesting for game developers and publishers and it looks that it’s going to become even more attractive now that CRYENGINE is coming to Linux.
 The developers from famous studio Crytek said a while ago that they intended to port their engine to the Linux platform, but very little information has been provided so far. In fact, Crytek went through some financial problems and the future of the Linux port was brought into question, but that might not be the case anymore.

 Crytek is a studio that has only made triple-A titles so far and users might know them for games like Far Cry, the Crysis series, and the recent Ryse: Son of Rome. It is unlikely that these titles will land on Linux even after CRYENGINE is published, but we can hope that future games based on this technology will see Linux versions as well.Crytek is making a push for Linux.
